Ambassador Leaders fundraising_Summit

Greetings Ambassador Leaders!

As your school year gets under way, we are busy planning for next summer’s programs, and are so excited about all that this year will hold. Hundreds of student leaders from all around the world attended our Summits at Harvard, Yale, and GWU last summer, and even more will be joining us at Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins, and UCLA next summer!

As we talk with families about our programs, one of the common questions we hear is about paying for the tuition. We completely understand the sacrifices that many parents make to be able to send their children to the Summits and we don’t want it to be a burden. Because we want all deserving students to have this incredible opportunity, we are happy to offer some great ways to help cover the cost of tuition.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We are very excited to be able to offer scholarships! We will be awarding over 20 need- and merit-based scholarships based on financial need, scholastic achievement and community involvement. We will be posting the application very soon so keep an eye out!

CONTESTS AND AWARDS

Throughout the months leading up to the program we will have several opportunities for you to participate in contests for a chance to win funds toward your tuition. Get involved, show what you've got, and see your efforts pay off.

FUNDRAISING HELP

You might be surprised to find out that most of our students fundraise for the Summits. Whether you are raising a part or the entire tuition, it can be done! Most students enroll many months before the program, so time is on your side. To help, each #FundFriday we will be posting a new fundraising idea on this blog, so be sure to stay tuned. These ideas come from students just like you, so know it can be done!

FLEX PAYMENT PLANS

To make it a bit more manageable, we also offer flexible payment plans. You can choose from one of the following:

Equal Monthly Payments: After the initial registration deposit, the balance is divided by the number of months before travel and payments are automatically withdrawn from a credit card or bank account each month until your tuition is paid in full. It’s a great way to break it up!

Installment Plan: This plan has scheduled amounts every 60 days or so. The payments are not automatic, so this plan offers you the most flexibility if you plan to fundraise. Making smaller payments as you go is much easier than paying the whole tuition at once!

help is a click or call away

Check back here often for new ideas and inspirations from students just like you. And know that we are always here to help. If you run into roadblocks or simply need to bounce ideas off someone, call us.

Remember, as with any goal, the Leadership Summit is within your reach. You've got this!
